Cancellation and Refund Policy for Hotel Reservations
At Sunbird Stays, we aim to provide clear and transparent booking and cancellation terms. The following policy applies to reservations made directly through our website, booking channels, or authorised partners.
Guests are advised to review the applicable cancellation conditions carefully before confirming their reservation.
Standard Bookings
Standard bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 1 week before the scheduled check-in date.
Cancellations made less than 1 week before check-in will be subject to a charge of 100% of the booking amount.
In case of a no-show, 100% of the booking amount will be charged and no refund will be provided.
Group Bookings (3 Rooms or More)
For group bookings of 3 rooms or more, guests may cancel the reservation or reduce the room count at least 4 weeks before check-in without cancellation charges. Partial cancellations are not permitted after this applicable period.
Cancellations made after the applicable 4-week window will be subject to a charge of 100% of the booking amount.
Wedding Season & Special Events
For bookings made during wedding seasons or special events, cancellations must be made at least 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.
Any initial deposit paid for wedding season or special event bookings is non-refundable.
Early Check-Out
Guests who choose to check out before the confirmed departure date will be charged the full booking amount. No refund will be provided for unused nights or any remaining portion of the confirmed stay.
Booking Modifications
Booking dates can be changed without any penalty if the modification request is made within the applicable cancellation window mentioned above.
All modifications are subject to room availability and may be subject to applicable rate differences or other booking conditions.
Last-Minute Bookings
Bookings made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date are considered non-refundable. Cancellation of such bookings will result in a charge of 100% of the booking amount.
Refund Policy
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation, subject to the applicable cancellation and refund terms of the booking.
The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the reservation or may be credited toward a future stay, based on the guest's preference.
